Autumn fogs

A short series of photos from early September morning.

Foggy close-ups and a game of light in tree foliage.

As usually happens during this time of year, we have a lot of fog in the morning in spring and autumn. In summer temperature is often too high for water to condense into fog.
So it's a good idea to chase the fog and the whole new world of possibilities it brings into nature photography. Ordinary places, and landscapes can look very spectacular and it's something that never repeats, as every time fog takes different shapes.

This September I had the ability to shoot foggy scenes every single day during one week when we had an anticyclone with perfect weather.

I have taken my bicycle as usual. It's a great pleasure to ride in the early morning as you can see things that normal people don't. And it's very healthy as well! :)

And it goes like this:

Nikon D600, nikkor 70-300mm f4.5-5.6, at f8, 1/320, ISO100, handheld.

You can see nice and smooth foggy background on these pictures as well as "water pearls" on spider webs.

And an overall view.

And here is one of my favorite scenarios, when harsh morning sun makes its way through the fog bringing amazing light beams.

And some more photos:

Great thanks for this photo to my good friend, who accompanied me in this early hour. :)

As the fog can be very rapid, usually it is gone after 15-30 minutes after sunrise, such kind of rides also don't take much time. This time is not an exception and after an hour we were at our homes sweetly sleeping after early morning fog "alarm". :)

Thank you for your attention!
